About Us |
Site Under ConstructionAlthough this website is being redesigned, The Travel Business Partnership (TBP) can still be contacted, preferably by email or phone, via the numbers listed here. TBP is a network of market analysts and business journalists who have all worked in the travel industry in different parts of the world for many years. The managing partner is Nancy Cockerell, who has more than 30 years experience working in the travel and tourism industry, either in publishing or in customised research and consultancy. She is a well-known commentator on industry trends and developments and is a frequent speaker at international conferences. TBP's editorial/research team also includes David Stevens and Jill Trew - like Nancy Cockerell, both previously part of the Economist Intelligence Unit and its successor, Travel & Tourism Intelligence - Brussels-based Marion Bywater and Luc Citrinot, our Bangkok-based correspondent. As well as producing our own reports and newsletters, TBP works on a regular basis for international government and parastatal organisations and associations such as the World Travel Organisation (UNWTO), the European Travel Commission (ETC) and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), as well as for individual governments/national tourism organisations and the private sector - including the World Travel & Tourism Council. In addition to its core, multi-lingual team of analysts and consultants, TBP can draw on its network of experts in some 25 countries worldwide. This means that it can closely monitor changing trends in leading and emerging markets, and can provide timely and effective analysis of developments impacting on travel and tourism in all four corners of the globe. |
